about

One fan told me he liked the theme of the song but didn't like the cliched conclusion. Whilst I see his point I believe cliches are sometimes both valid and inevitable. Why should it always be necessary to search for new solutions to age old problems when the only real answer is screaming at us in the face?
I'm moved to reiterate this old 60s clichè - a distant echo from my early childhood. I have enjoyed people singing these words along with me despite being aware that we are probably all just pissing into the wind!
